My Schedule Book - an interactive communication book designed by Amanda Mc Guinness with high contrasting imagery together with a page by page white background with clear boundaries denoted by either a purple -blue or orange boundary.

My Schedule Book was inspired by Amanda's young son Conor who is autistic and non-speaking. Amanda designed the My Schedule Book to support her young son when out and about. Conor is autistic and relies on visual supports such as a First & Then and a Visual Schedule to help him feel secure and to make sense of his world.

When out and about, Amanda brings along the "My Schedule Book" so Conor is supported wherever he goes.

This resource is designed in a page by page layout, beginning with a First & Then page, followed by a "My picture symbols" page to house the picture symbols needed for the First & Then page. It is followed by two pages to represent the "My Schedule" section of the book, and is followed by two pages noted as "My picture symbols" and is denoted by an orange border.

The My Schedule book itself contains 36 Velcro Hook coins, 2 strips of Velcro hook tape.

The resource also comes with schedule daily routine picture symbols totalling 20 with 20 Velcro dot coins to support their attachment to the book. There is the option to choose between a boy or girl symbol set.

This resource is an A6 professionally printed interactive educational book.

The cover is printed on 350gsm double gloss laminate and the inner pages are printed on 350gsm matt silk card.
